Petal & Thorn offers the following services:
Order Confirmation: All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance and availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason, including pricing errors, product unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity.
Pricing: All prices are listed in USD and are subject to change without notice. Prices include the cost of flowers and design but exclude delivery fees and applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
Payment: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and PayPal. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. Full payment is required at the time of order unless otherwise arranged for large events.
Substitutions: Due to the seasonal and natural availability of flowers, we reserve the right to substitute similar flowers or greenery of equal or greater value while maintaining the overall design aesthetic and color palette.
Delivery Areas: We deliver to Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and select areas of the Tri-State region. Delivery fees vary by location and are calculated at checkout.
Delivery Times: Same-day delivery is available for orders placed before 12:00 PM EST (Monday–Friday). We offer scheduled delivery windows but cannot guarantee exact delivery times due to traffic and logistics.
Recipient Availability: If the recipient is unavailable, we will leave the arrangement in a safe location or with a neighbor. We are not responsible for arrangements left unattended per delivery instructions.
Delivery Failures: If delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address information or recipient refusal, redelivery fees will apply.
Cancellations: Orders may be canceled up to 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a 50% restocking fee. Same-day orders cannot be canceled once confirmed.
Refunds: Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 5-7 business days. We do not offer refunds for customer dissatisfaction due to subjective preferences (color, flower choice) unless there is a significant quality issue.
Freshness Guarantee: We guarantee the freshness of our arrangements for 7 days with proper care. If you experience issues within this period, please contact us with photos for a replacement or refund.
Event Services: Deposits for weddings and events are non-refundable but may be transferred to a future date (subject to availability). Final payments are due 14 days before the event.
All content on this website, including text, images, logos, designs, and graphics, is the property of Petal & Thorn and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our express written permission. Our floral designs are original artistic works and may not be replicated by other florists or individuals for commercial purposes.
By engaging our services, you grant Petal & Thorn permission to photograph our work at your event and use these images for marketing purposes, including social media, website galleries, and promotional materials. If you prefer your event to remain private, please notify us in writing prior to the event date.

Petal & Thorn is not liable for failure to perform services due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, severe weather, pandemics, strikes, supplier failures, or government restrictions. In such cases, we will work with clients to reschedule or provide alternative solutions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms of Service or our services will be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be subject to binding arbitration in New York County, New York, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits against Petal & Thorn.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. By using our services, you consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts located in New York County, New York.
Petal & Thorn reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
If any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
